I DID IT!!!

The price of gas is outrageous. It's just one more way the public gets poorer while the oil barons in the oval office get richer, and I am sick and tired of getting robbed at the gas pump. So, in an effort to save what little money I have, I decided a little exercise can't hurt. If I benefit the environment and my health, as well as save money at the same time, how can I possibly go wrong?

Yes, folks, I bought a bike, AND I LEARNED HOW TO RIDE IT!!!

I was VERY wobbly at first, and my turns were very wide, but I'll get the hang of it.

Sometimes I hate it when Jeff is Right.

Say it with me, folks:

ANTI-differentiation!

The final is May 19th.

Pray for me. :D

Just saying it feels as if the plague is approaching. When your solution takes a full sheet of paper... you know you are entering a "different" level of torture. :)

273 Days Left

"In an act of political retaliation for her husband's revealing that there was no truth to the president's claim in the State of the Union address that Saddam Hussein sought uranium in Niger, the identification of his wife, Valerie Plame, as a CIA agent, was leaked to the press. In doing so, a federal law was broken. Subsequently a conspiracy evolved within the White House involving Bush and his chief deputy Karl Rove, Dick Cheney and his chief deputy Scooter Libby, and the press secretary Scott McClellan to conceal the source of the leaks. Both the identification and conspiracy are high crimes, and as such, cause for impeachment.

- From Article I of House Resolution 1106: Articles of Impeachment against George Walker Bush, President of the United States, Introduced by Cynthia McKinney (D-GA) on December 8, 2006."

Taken from my Bad President calendar for April 22, 2008.

The Neighborhood is in Bloom!

Here it is, April 21st, temps near 80 here in Buffalo, and it's snowing like crazy in Seattle!
As Obiwan would say, "Bwaah-haaa-haaa!" (or something like that.) :D

Even my Christmas Cactus is confused!

Thank you! It was a beautiful day, and I actually had my camera with me!

Beautiful Days!

Yesterday, for the first time this season, I had my morning coffee outside on the patio. It was beautiful, and I enjoyed it so much I forgot to take pictures. Saturday, the temperature soared to 87, breaking the record. Today we are supposed to hit 70. I love it!

No More Training Wheels

Here he comes!
And there he goes... Once he got the hang of it, all he wanted to do was ride up and down the street.

Now it's my turn...

My little blue belt

His blue belt fell off, but here he is, throwing the big kids around. :-)
