Facebook is a constant source of amazement to me. I 'friended' the daughter of an old boyfriend tonight and was able to catch up a wee bit. She has two beautiful boys, and it looks like she grew up good. Made me think back...I don't remember when I realized it exactly, but I loved his three children more than I loved the man. A relationship doomed. Ah, well. Life doesn't always turn out like you think it will.
Twitter has come up with some surprising moments, too. Like when I got the email that my ex-husband is following me on Twitter. Which was after someone told me he was dead. Surprise!
I remember sitting at the dinner table with my family oh, about 30+ years ago, telling my father that my science teacher said that someday, computers would be so small we could hold them in our hands. My father laughed.
Facebook and Twitter could not have been farther from our imaginations.
